Pricing
Custom websites for local service businesses — clear prices, no surprises.
The only choices are how big it is, and who runs it after launch. Final quotes come from a short call, and nothing here has an asterisk. The prices below are typical, not fixed — some builds land lower, some higher.
Our first ten clients get founding pricing — a special early rate, separate from and lower than the prices listed here, worked out on the call. Once those ten are taken, it’s gone and rates go up.

10+ pages, blog, booking or other integrations
around $3,500

After launch
Who runs it: two answers.
Managed — recommended
We build it. We run it. You run your business.
- Hosting, SSL, security, backups, and uptime monitoring — all handled
- If something breaks, we catch it and fix it — you don't have to find it first
- Up to 2 content edits a month — text, photos, hours, prices — done within 2 business days
- Your search and AI-answer setup kept current — we refresh it as Google's standards and the AI assistants change, so it never goes stale
- New pages, redesigns, or new features quoted separately, so the monthly fee never creeps
- You always own your domain and your content
Six-month minimum, then month-to-month. Cancel anytime after — and if you ever leave, we hand you your complete site.
Self-Managed
We build it. You take the keys.
- Your site's code in a repository you own
- Deployed on your own hosting account, domain connected there
- Credentials, DNS notes, and a plain-English “how your site works” guide
- Priced above the Managed build fee because it's a complete, permanent handoff
- Help after handoff whenever you want it — $95/hour, no minimum
Both plans are priced off your build tier, so they move with it — the $95/hour help rate is the one flat number here. Your exact figure comes from the first call.
Already have a site? We’ll record a short video walking through what’s costing you customers — free, no meeting required. It ends with a straight recommendation: usually a Tune-Up (below) or a rebuild, whichever your site actually needs.
Already have a site you like?
Keep your site. Fix what the machines read.
Google’s AI now answers many searches before anyone sees the map or the links — and most local sites, even good-looking ones, aren’t written in a way those machines can read. The Tune-Up fixes that on the site you already have. Your design stays; the machines finally see you.
Site Tune-Up — one-time
$450 one-time, fixed price
Your site stays. We fix what the machines read. The exact checklist, so you know precisely what you’re buying:
- Full baseline report (PageSpeed, all five categories including agentic browsing, on mobile + desktop) — the before snapshot
- Structured data / schema markup: your business, services, service area, and reviews written into the code
- Titles, meta descriptions, H1s, and Open Graph on every page
- Image compression + load-speed (LCP) fixes, as far as your platform allows
- AEO pass: your business facts, services, and service areas written so AI search engines can read and quote them
- Google Business Profile: website link verified, categories, hours, and services filled in, Search Console connected
- After report: the same PageSpeed run, side by side with the before — the deliverable is the receipt
Not included — and we say so up front: redesign, new pages, copywriting beyond metadata and business facts, and rankings guarantees. Nobody can honestly promise page one; we promise the machines get clean, correct facts about your business.
Search Care — optional, after a Tune-Up
$99/mo
Standards change — Google’s and the AI assistants’. Search Care keeps your tune-up current.
- Monitoring, with a monthly before/after report
- Schema and AEO kept current as standards change
- One round of content edits a month
And for $50 more, Managed runs your entire site — hosting, edits, and all. Search Care is the small step; Managed is the whole answer.
Works with your platform
- WordPress — yes, full checklist.
- Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, Shopify — yes. We deliver everything the platform allows; if the platform itself caps your scores, the after-report says so plainly.
- Custom-coded sites — case-by-case, after a quick access check on the call.
- Free site builders (free subdomains and the like) — no tune-up; the foundation can’t reach modern scores, and we’ll tell you that instead of taking your money.
Sometimes a tune-up is the wrong buy. If your site’s foundation can’t reach modern scores no matter what we do to it, we’ll tell you on the free review — and quote a rebuild instead of taking your tune-up money.
We work by invitation, not passwords.
Every platform we support lets you add Harbe Studio as a collaborator with our own login — you stay the owner, you see everything we do, and you can remove our access in one click the moment the job’s done. We will never ask for your password. If your setup genuinely has no invite option, we’ll ask you to create a temporary login just for this job — and you change it the day we finish.
Founding-clients rate around $350, worked out on the call — same founding rules as everything else on this page. Start with the free review →
Just need one page?
A landing page — one service, one goal, one call to action. For ad campaigns, seasonal offers, or getting your first real web presence live fast. Around $700, live in 3 business days. Want us to host and maintain it? Add $99/month. And if it works — we’ll build the rest.
Already on a Managed plan? Additional campaign pages around $500. A typical price — your exact quote comes from the first call.
The honest math
What two years actually costs.
Most owners assume one-time is cheaper. Over a few years, it usually isn’t — and it comes without the peace of mind. Here’s a typical Business-tier site over two years, using industry-standard hourly rates for the edits every site eventually needs.
Self-Managed, two years
≈ $4,400–$5,600
Industry rates run $75–$125/hour — even one small edit a month lands at $900–$1,500 a year. Nobody is on call.
Managed, two years
$5,376
Same neighborhood of money — with every edit included, and someone accountable when it matters.
Typical, illustrative numbers — your real quote depends on the build, up or down.
Every build
In both plans, no matter what.
- Custom design — no templates
- Built mobile-first, works on every screen
- Fast load times, measured before launch
- Found by search: your site mapped and open to crawlers, one clean address per page, and a written title and summary for every page
- Readable by AI assistants: your business facts, services, and FAQ written into the code as structured data, plus a plain-language file for assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity — and your Google Business Profile set up
- A contact form that reaches you
- Simple, privacy-friendly analytics
Established business with bigger plans — more pages, booking, or e-commerce? Those projects typically start around $3,500, scoped on a call — the final quote depends on what you need.
Questions
Asked and answered.
How long does it take?
About two weeks for a typical Starter or Business site, from first call to launch. Growth projects depend on scope — we'll give you a real timeline on the call.
Who owns the domain?
You do. Always. Even on the Managed plan, your domain and your content belong to you — that's non-negotiable.
What counts as a “content edit”?
Text changes, photo swaps, updating hours, prices, or contact info — the small stuff that keeps a site current. New pages, redesigns, and new features are quoted separately. We put that boundary on this page on purpose, so there's never an awkward conversation later.
What if I want to leave the Managed plan?
After the first six months you can cancel anytime. When you do, we hand you your complete site — the code in your own GitHub account, the site running on your own hosting account, your domain connected, and documentation a normal human can read.
What does the Self-Managed handoff actually include?
You get the keys to everything: your site's code in a repository you own, deployed on your own hosting account, your domain connected there, plus credentials and a plain-English “how your site works” guide.
What does “built to be found” actually mean?
Every site ships with the technical groundwork for search and AI visibility written into the code — not bolted on after. That includes: a sitemap and robots file that invite crawlers, one clean address per page, a written title and description for every page, and your business name, services, service area, and contact info encoded as structured data — the format search engines and AI assistants read directly. Common questions get FAQ structured data too, so they can surface as answer-box results. We also set up your Google Business Profile. What we don't do: promise rankings, run ads, or manage ongoing SEO campaigns — that's separate work.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, either direction, anytime. Managed to Self-Managed uses the standard handoff. Self-Managed to Managed — we take it back over and pick up where we left off.
Do you work outside Arizona and New Jersey?
Yes. Phoenix and Bergen County are home, but everything — calls, previews, launches — works the same anywhere in the US.
Fifteen minutes on the phone gets you a real quote and a real timeline.
